Day 1

Scriptures: Psalms 44:1-5, John 15:13, Luke 10:19

Commanded Victories

Welcome to 7 Days of Miracle Prayer! In this simple prayer series, we will read one Scripture each day. Then, we will list several bullet-point prayer directives you can use to pray through that Scripture.

You don’t have to pray the prayer points verbatim; exercise your prayer muscles by talking to the Lord right out of your heart!

Today, we are praying for God’s commanded victories.

First, please read Psalm 44:1-5. Then, if you need breakthroughs and miracles, pray along these points today:

  • Remind God of a few of the huge works He has done: the parting of the Red Sea, raining manna down from Heaven, providing for all your needs, saving your soul from sin, et cetera.
  • Acknowledge to the Father that He drove out the nations with His hand from before the Israelites.
  • Acknowledge to Him that He planted the Israelites in their land, all by Himself. He didn’t need any help from outside, and people who hated the Israelites didn’t have to agree.
  • Remind the Lord in prayer that He did these things because He favored and loved the Israelites. Point out to the Lord that He loves you too with just as much love, for “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). Jesus loves you just as much as He loved the Israelites.
  • Ask God for favor today. Ask Him to use His right hand, His arm, and the light of His countenance to bring YOU into possession of your land as well.
  • Ask Him to bring you into possession of your land because He has favored you and saved you.
  • Ask Him to command victories for you today.
  • Then, echo the Word of God for yourself by speaking out loud: “I command victories into my life today in every area by the blood and name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!”
  • Thank the Father for bringing you victory in every area, even if you can’t see that victory in the natural realm yet.
  • Thank Him for causing you to trample on serpents and scorpions, and that nothing shall by any means harm you! (See Luke 10:19.) Thank Him for defeating every power of darkness that rises against you.

Those are the prayer points for Day 1 of 7 Days of Miracle Prayer. I encourage you to meditate on this Scripture and ask God to command victories to you all day today! Then, praise Him for commanding those victories to you and for you, in Jesus’ name!

Day 2

Scriptures: Psalms 50:10-15, Psalms 139:13-14

Guaranteed Deliverance

Today, we are talking about the guaranteed deliverance that God promises in His Word. Our Scripture verse for Day 2 is Psalm 50:10-15. After you read the passage, pray along these points today:

  • Thank the Lord that everything belongs to Him.
  • Take a moment to worship Him for His beauty, power, and majesty. Praise Him!
  • Confess the vows you have made to the Lord all over again. (For example, if you’re fasting, remind Him that you’re fasting right now unto Him.) Ask Him for help to pay your vows to Him and not rob Him of the obedience that is due Him.
  • Ask Him again to put His grace to work on your behalf, helping you to honor Him and pay your vows to Him.
  • Quote Psalm 50:15 back to the Lord and remind Him of what He said: “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
  • Call upon Him and ask Him to help you in whatever trouble you are in. Ask Him to help you with whatever you need help with. Be specific.
  • Thank Him for delivering you. Thank Him that He will always come through for you! He is faithful.
  • Praise Him for delivering you, for He is delivering you right now as you call.
  • Ask Him to glorify His own name in your life.

Beloved, God’s Word says that your deliverance is guaranteed! God has promised you guaranteed deliverance when you call upon Him in your day of trouble!

Will you call upon Him today? I hope and pray that you will. Call upon Him, and He will answer you and show you GREAT and MIGHTY things that you do not know. (See Jeremiah 33:3.)

Day 3

Scriptures: Psalms 56:8-11, John 1:1-5, Ephesians 6:12

Your Enemies Will Turn Back

Today, we are praying into God’s promise that your enemies will turn back when you call upon the Lord.

Our Scripture verse for Day 3 is Psalm 56:8-11. As you pray through this Scripture today, think of your enemies outside the “normal description” of enemies. For example, think of enemies in your life like debt, addiction, hurts and wounds, et cetera.

Remember that we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the dark rulers of this present age (Ephesians 6:12).

You are in a spiritual battle, so pray for all your enemies, including practical and spiritual ones.

Also, as you pray today, notice the part of the Scripture that says, “I will praise His word.”

Remember that JESUS is the Word become flesh (John 1:1), so praising His Word is equivalent to praising Jesus. But why does this passage specifically state you will praise His Word?

It’s because His Word is equal to Himself; it’s part of Himself; it IS HIMSELF. And what God has said, He will do. God’s Word is part of Himself, and it will always come to pass. Whatever God has spoken for you, He will do! That’s why you can (and should) praise His Word today; His Word is JESUS!

So pray along these points today:

  • Thank the Lord for being your Shepherd.
  • Thank Him for being the God of all comfort. Praise Him for His compassion and lovingkindness toward you.
  • Then, cry out to the Lord. Tell Him briefly about the enemies you are dealing with. (Don’t belabor this point, as you don’t want to start feeling sorry for yourself. Just tell the Lord what you need His help with.)
  • Confess your need for help to the Lord. Ask Him to come in like a flood and help you.
  • Tell Him that you believe His Word: that when you cry out to Him, your enemies will turn back because He will turn them back!
  • Confess your faith to the Lord. Tell Him that you KNOW He is faithful, and that He WILL fight your battles as you praise Him and believe Him in faith.
  • Thank Him for fighting on your side. Take a moment to praise His Word, knowing that His Word is Jesus.
  • Ask Father God to fill you with His perfect love, which casts out fear. Thank Him for taking care of you so that you don’t need to be afraid.
  • Thank Him that no one can do anything to harm you. Thank Him for turning your enemies back today and fighting on your side, winning the victory on your behalf!

Beloved, God has written down every single one of your tears in His book!

He sees you and knows you. He knows your need. Cry out to Him today, and your enemies will turn back. You can be assured of this, for God is FOR you!

As the apostle Paul wrote:

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32).

Child of God, you can trust our Father today, for He is on your side! When you cry out to Him, your enemies will turn back. His Word guarantees it, and He is not a man that He should lie.

Day 4

Scriptures: Psalms 75:6-7, Psalms 48:2, Isaiah 14:13

Pray for Promotion

On Day 4 of our miracle prayer journey, we are praying for promotion. Our Scripture verse for today is Psalm 75:6-7:

“For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another” (Psalm 75:6-7).

Before you pray through this Scripture today, ask yourself this:

This passage from Psalm 75 says that exaltation (promotion) does not come from the east, the west, or the south. However, it doesn’t mention the north. Why is that?

Well, if you put the pieces together, Scripture explains itself. Psalm 75 doesn’t mention the north because God sits “in the sides of the north” according to Psalm 48:2 and Isaiah 14:13; “the sides of the north” is His dwelling place. So, promotion does in fact come from the north, since it comes from God; and the north is where God sits.

Promotion comes only from God, and that’s good news for us today.

Since promotion comes only from God, God can promote you anytime He knows you’re ready. He doesn’t have to wait for any humans to agree with Him. Your promotion is in God’s hands, and in God’s hands alone. Hallelujah!

So pray for promotion as follows:

  • Thank God that He sees you and knows you. Thank Him that He alone sees and understands your heart.
  • Praise Him for the fact that all promotion and increase comes from Him!
  • Ask Father God to search your heart by His Spirit. Ask Him to get everything out of you that isn’t just like Him, so that you can qualify for promotion.
  • Ask Him to shape your heart and form your character, making you just like Him.
  • Ask Him to change your heart; to take away your stony heart and give you His heart; and to take away your old spirit and give you His Spirit.
  • Ask Him to make you promotable in His opinion, which is the only opinion that matters!
  • Ask Him to promote you at the right time into the next level of opportunity, influence, and blessing that He has for you.
  • Thank Him that He doesn’t have to get anybody else on board when He is ready to promote you. He doesn’t need the help of all the people who have overlooked you or forgotten you. He can promote you all by Himself.
  • Thank Him and praise Him for His promotion that He is bringing you.
  • Thank Him for promoting you only in His perfect time, when He knows you are ready; for promoting you too soon would hurt you, not help you.
  • Thank Him that His eye is on the sparrow, and He most definitely is watching over you and perfecting ALL things that concern you!

Beloved, you can commit yourself and your promotion into the hands of your Father today.

Promotion can only come from Him anyway. When you look to man for promotion, you’ll be nothing but disappointed. But if you look to God, trusting Him to judge every situation fairly and promote you into whatever He knows is best, THEN you will be blessed.

Day 5

Scriptures: Psalms 115:14-15, Romans 8:26-27, James 1:17, Psalms 84:11, 1 Chronicles 4:10

Prayer for the Spirit of Increase

Today, we are praying a prayer for the Holy Spirit to bring an increase into your life. This prayer is based on Psalm 115:14-15, which says:

“May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 115:14-15).

Pray and ask the Lord to move in your life with His Spirit of increase:

  • Tell the Father that you come before Him through faith in Jesus’ name. Ask Him for His Holy Spirit to pray through you, intercede for you, and help you pray right now. (See Romans 8:26-27.)
  • Thank Him for every good and perfect gift in your life, for He is the Giver of good and perfect gifts. (See James 1:17.)
  • Remember how God has increased you and grown you over the years. Then, praise Him for what He has done already!
  • Because God is good and will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11), petition Him with all your heart for increase today.
  • Ask Him to let His Spirit of increase–His Holy Spirit–rest upon you and manifest Himself to you, bringing increase to you and everything that concerns you today.
  • Ask Him to increase your children, your family, your finances, your business, and your ministry more and more.
  • Ask our kind Heavenly Father to bless you indeed; to enlarge your territory; that His hand would be with you; that He would keep you from evil; and that you would not cause pain. (See the prayer of Jabez found in 1 Chronicles 4:10.)
  • Ask Him to help you persevere along the journey, for increase may come suddenly or it may arrive gradually. Either way, thank Him for keeping you and holding you in the palm of His hand!
  • Thank Him for hearing and answering your prayer.

Do you need the Lord to give you increase more and more today by His Holy Spirit of increase?

If so, then I encourage you to memorize this Scripture. Pray it back to God often, and thank Him for the increase He is bringing you right now!

Day 6

Scriptures: Ecclesiastes 1:9, Ezekiel 37:1-9, John 12:24

Ask the Lord to Resurrect Your Dreams and Seeds

Today, we are praying for resurrection of your dreams and seeds based on Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 says:

“That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

My friend, you may think your dreams are dead. However, God’s Word says that your dreams are only sleeping. That which has been is what will be; your dreams—and the seeds you have sown—will come back to life!

Pray through the prayer points below for resurrection of your dead dreams:

  • Thank God for loving you and caring for you. Thank Him for sending His Word to heal you spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, and relationally.
  • Thank and praise Him that HEALING and RESURRECTION are your portion in Christ Jesus!
  • Remind Him again of His Word in Ecclesiastes 1:9: “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”
  • Remind Him of the seeds you have sown in the past: seeds of prayers, tears, offerings, fasting, acts of service, and more. In particular, remind the Lord about the many seeds you have sown for which you have not yet received a harvest.
  • Remind Him of the dreams you have dreamed that you feel He has given you–even if those dreams feel dead to you right now.
  • Claim His promise from Ecclesiastes 1:9 in prayer. Tell the Father that you believe that the dreams you dreamed in the past ARE what will still happen in the future, because “That which has been is what will be.”
  • Confess to Him that you believe that the seeds you have sown in the past, from which you have not received the harvest for which you sowed, will still come up and bear fruit.
  • Ask the Lord in the name of Jesus to bring forth the harvest on your seed TODAY. Remind Him that He is the Lord of the harvest (Matthew 9:38), so bringing you your harvest is what He does and what He desires to do!
  • Ask Him to resurrect your dead dreams today and fill them with life everlasting.
  • Prophesy to the breath: “Come from the four winds, O breath of God, Holy Spirit; and breathe on these slain dreams and seeds, that they may live.” (See Ezekiel 37:1-9.)
  • Remind the Father also that Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain” (John 12:24). Thank the Lord for allowing your seeds and dreams to fall into the ground and die for a time, so that they can come up again and bring you MUCH fruit, much grain, and much harvest.
  • Thank the Lord that He never forgets a seed, a dream, or a prayer. Thank Him for storing all your prayers in His bowls in Heaven.
  • Thank Him for allowing you to wait on your dreams and harvests, for waiting on the Lord makes you strong! (See Isaiah 40:31.) Thank Him for this opportunity to become strong, and praise Him for His faithfulness to you.

My friend, God’s Word says “that which has been is what will be.” God is in the habit of resurrecting dead things and bringing them full-circle.

Believe Him for His resurrection power to fill your life today!

Day 7

Scriptures: Hebrews 6:10-12, 2 Timothy 2:11-13, Hebrews 12:12-13, Hebrews 11:6

God Is Not Unjust to Forget Your Work

On Day 7 of our miracle prayer journey, we are asking God to reward you.

Beloved, God sees your efforts for His sake.

He sees you as you seek Him daily. He hears every prayer and catches every tear in His bottle. He sees all the labor you put forth for His Kingdom, and He sees the great love with which you love His people.

And our God—our good, kind, and gracious Heavenly Father—is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name.

Hebrews 6:10-12 tells us so specifically:

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:10-12).

Friend, let me encourage you today:

God is faithful, and He is just. Faithfulness and justice are not attributes God can put on and take off, like a coat or mantle; He IS these things, through and through—and He can never be anything else.

Second Timothy 2:11-13 says this:

“This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.

If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:11-13, emphasis mine).

God cannot deny Himself.

He cannot be less than who He is; it’s simply not possible. And God IS faithful, so He will always be faithful to you. He is also just. His Word specifically says that He would have to be unjust in order to let you down, and He will never be unjust. (Again, it’s not possible for Him to be unjust.) His Word also says that He would have to be faithless in order to let us down—but He will never be faithless.

Therefore, my friend, do not let sluggishness overtake you.

Stand up. Strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, that what is lame may not be dislocated, but may rather be healed. (See Hebrews 12:12-13.) Stand up, and “imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Pray through the prayer points below, reminding God and confessing to Him that is not unjust to forget your work:

  • Confess out loud to the Lord that He is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
  • Thank Him in advance for the fact that He is going to show Himself faithful in your current need. He is going to come through for you!
  • Ask Him to bless you for every time you have ministered to His people–whether by giving, through an encouraging word, or by serving in any other way.
  • Remind the Lord that His own Word says that he who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6.) Ask the Lord to reward you for seeking Him and serving Him.
  • Ask Him to manifest the great victories and rewards for you that Jesus Christ purchased on the cross with His blood!
  • Ask the Lord to help you be diligent, with the full assurance of hope, until the end of time when Jesus returns. Pray that you would imitate those who, through faith and patience, inherit the promises.
  • Thank Him for your sure reward, which He is bringing you both in Heaven and on earth.

God has not forgotten the labor of love that you have shown toward His name.

Keep on praying for miracles; you will receive the miracles for which you are contending! God is faithful, and He always watches over His Word to perform it.
