Day 1

Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:7

A LEADER AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

Reflection:

When we think of a leader, we often picture someone charismatic, strong, and impressive. But God sees things differently. When He chose David as king, He didn’t focus on his appearance or experience—He saw his heart.

Being a leader in God’s eyes isn’t about having all the right skills or a perfect track record. It’s about having a heart that’s willing to follow Him. God is looking for people who love, serve, and lead with humility. It’s not about how many followers you have—it’s about how many lives you impact with His love.

Personal Application:

Ask God today to shape your heart to be more like His. Instead of worrying about how others see you, focus on how God sees you and how you can better serve those around you.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Are you leading with a heart that reflects God’s character?
  2. How can you be a leader who serves instead of just wanting to be served?
Day 2

Scripture: Matthew 20:26-28

LEADING MEANS SERVING

Reflection:

The world often defines leadership as power, titles, and recognition. But Jesus completely flipped that idea. The greatest leader is the one who serves the most. Even though He was the King of kings, Jesus washed His disciples’ feet and gave His life for us.

If you want to be a great leader, you first need to learn how to serve. Leadership isn’t about having people follow you—it’s about helping others grow. True leaders don’t seek the spotlight; they use their influence to lift others up.

Personal Application:

Look for an opportunity to serve today—whether it’s in your family, workplace, church, or community. Ask someone, “How can I help you?” and take action with love and humility.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What practical steps can you take today to become a servant leader?
  2. Who in your life could be impacted by an act of service this week?
Day 3

Scripture: Joshua 1:9

LEAD WITH FAITH, NOT FEAR

Reflection:

Leadership can be scary. There are moments when you doubt yourself, fear failure, or feel like you’re not enough. But just like God reminded Joshua, He reminds you today: He is with you, and He gives you the courage to move forward.

Don’t let fear hold you back. God has called you to influence, guide, and bless others. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just trust that He is leading the way. When you walk in faith, leadership becomes an adventure where God surprises you at every step.

Personal Application:

Face one of your fears with faith today. If there’s something God has called you to lead but you’ve been hesitant, take a step forward and trust that He will back you up.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Is there a fear that’s been stopping you from leading the way God wants?
  2. How can you strengthen your trust in God to lead with confidence?
