Day 1

Scriptures: Isaiah 61:3, Philippians 4:6-7, Joshua 1:8

There is such beauty to be found in God, and within this beauty, there is a peace in God that calms your heart despite whatever you may be going through. The Bible says that God gives you beauty for your ashes, and it’s all for your restoration.

Many of us could agree that sometimes, life doesn’t work out the way we thought it would. But when we endure, we know a truth…if you just keep walking with God, He is gracious and merciful and will bring you full circle in your experiences. He will complete the good work He has started in you. He will use your previous situation to prepare you for what you’ve been asking Him to deliver.

But, you have to walk with Him. You have to decide to be obedient. You have to have one-on-one time with Him. The beauty in restoration you’re waiting on is found at the foot of His throne, a place you reach when you go to God in prayer and meditation (Joshua 1:8) on a regular basis.

Beautiful, don’t get bitter about the situation you went through. That’s simply NOT the end of the story. That challenge you experienced is being shaped by God into the beginning of something beautiful. That fight, that loss, that deception, that death – it was designed by the enemy to LOOK like the end, to cause you to lose your hope. Don’t believe it! Our God is such a GOOD God. He loves you so richly and deeply, and He cares for you. Keep walking with Jesus today, and let Him show you the complete, beautiful work He has for your life.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, the truth is settling in your mind and spirit. You know that what looked like the end, is not the end of the story. God is exchanging beauty for your ashes. God has completion for you and He is bringing you awareness of it right now. You are able to breathe, trust, and release through Christ, who is strengthening you right now. Lift your hands and receive the good gift of peace that our God has for you.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What is one scripture that could help you believe that God will restore you to a beautiful place despite what you experienced?

Day 2

Scriptures: Zephaniah 3:17, 1 Corinthians 12:18

As women, we naturally love beautiful things. Much of our girlhood is spent discovering and enjoying where the beauty lies in things all around usBeing present to beauty seems to be second nature for many of us. Somehow, as we get older, we stop enjoying the places where the beauty lies (BEing) and become hyper-focused on getting tasks done every day (DOing).

In my “perfectionistic past”, there have been times when I believed that I had reached the limits of what God could do in my life and felt like all that mattered was what I could get “done” that day. I had convinced myself that God needed my help! Things weren’t moving fast enough for me and I became a hyper-DOer. If you can relate and you’ve overcome hyper-DOing, share your story of delivery in our manifestHER Daily Facebook group!

My relationship with God fell into a good, but regular routine…getting up, praying, going to work, coming home, and praying before I went to sleep. I had what I believed to be a good relationship with Him; He was my Father, I was His child. I couldn’t see past good to understand that He had GREAT for me.

I realize now, that at the time, I believed God was only concerned with “big” world problems and not really concerned about me because I was “making it.” I really didn’t know the extent to which His love covered me or the extent to which God really cherished and celebrated me.

Zephaniah 3:17 says that “He rejoices over us with joy,” and that “He exults over us with singing!”

Take a moment to meditate on the fact that He is with you right now, and He wants you to:

  • Come to Him for your comfort (instead of to other people)
  • Bring Him your pain (instead of medicating it with addictions)
  • Simply delight in His love for you and rely on His strength (instead of relying on yourself)

Today’s Affirmation

God is smiling on you today. Take a moment to close your eyes and savor His love. It’s the warmth of God, ministering to your spirit right now, embracing you with His peace. He calls you beautiful, and you’re believing it more and more. God’s truth becomes preeminent and elevates your own perception of who you are and what you are designed to do within His kingdom.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What are 3 reasons God cherishes you?

Day 3

Scriptures: John 14:26, Psalms 27:1, Ephesians 3:17-19

If you’re like me, sometimes you find yourself searching for more and more ways to make yourself beautiful. We scroll through social media, read magazines, consult the experts, and receive beauty advice from our friends. Instead of searching outside ourselves, we should look inside of ourselves, to the beauty God placed in us when He gifted us with the Holy Spirit. God’s presence in us reveals where our true beauty lies.

True beauty comes from the look of peace in your eyes, the rest in your presence, and the love you communicate daily to those in your life, on display even in the midst of everything not being exactly what you want it to be.

You obtain true beauty when you look into the eyes of God and experience His love. How? Through your quiet devotion time spent in His presence and learning to listen to His voice, all of which develops your spiritual practice.

Coming into a full understanding of just how much God loves you is something you can only get from Him, and it requires a love-encounter with Him. A love-encounter is just you and God, face to face…with you experiencing His light, His salvation, His glory, His grace, and His mercy. It can happen through asking and seeking, it can happen through hearing a testimony and desiring that experience for yourself, and it can happen as it happened to me – where everything I thought I knew to be true was proven inadequate after going through the life-altering trauma of divorce and God brought me to His throne through daily prayer and meditation time.

Everything I thought I knew about God was challenged beyond the point of what I felt I could bear. Ironically, that was just the point God wanted to get me to, to show me that His strength had to become my foundation. At that point, it didn’t matter if I was “making it” or not. I learned that in my weakness, His strength was what I could rely on, and He completely rocked my world. I grew into a knowledge of His love day by day by learning to rely on His strength instead of my own, and the pain drifted away and was replaced with peace and wisdom, only gained by leaning on Him.

God uses everything in our lives to help us come into a knowledge of the FULL extent of His love. His devotion to us defies our human comprehension.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, you release control and give it to God. You can feel His strength becoming your foundation, and old beliefs that no longer serve His plan for you, gently fall away and are replaced with new beliefs. Scriptures come easily to your thoughts. You find yourself smiling when you see evidence of God in your life. He is real, and His “banner over you” is love. Today, you are spending time resting in the gentle beauty of God.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What event can you point to in your life where you know that God’s unconditional love is what has kept you?

Day 4

Scriptures: Matthew 5:14, Luke 10:41-42

God has designed you to be the light of the world, and as a result, you constantly emit radiance. What is radiance? Radiance is “light reflected by something.” Have you ever seen a mirror that needed cleaning? Once you scrubbed it, you could see your reflection clearly. However, a mirror, no matter how clean it is, can only reflect what is already there. Who you are “BEing” is your radiance – it is the light that is reflected from your life into the world.

Ideally, your radiance is sourced by God’s energy. Whether you’re aware of it or not, we are all impacted by your radiance. This radiance has the power to motivate and inspire. It also has the power to discourage and dim the perceptions and energy of those around you.

As you deepen your relationship with God, His light develops and illuminates His presence in your life to the point where it ministers to people, even if just through a smile or silent prayer, or through your work or gifting. God desires for you to source your radiance in His wisdom and love, providing you with the opportunity to bless other people by pointing them to the source of your light – God.

We’ve all been affected by that one woman who allowed her past circumstances to dictate her radiance and her actions. This woman is always driven by the negative emotions resulting from being unhealed from her past. What she didn’t know was that she had a personal responsibility to control her radiance by doing the work to receive God’s healing. Like the woman in Luke 8:43-48 who suffered with a blood issue for twelve years and didn’t give up until she was healed, we all have a responsibility to source our radiance in God and use our radiance in a way that glorifies God.

The KEY is to regulate your INTERNAL way of BEing instead of being controlled by EXTERNAL circumstances. You have power. Yes, YOU have power, and we all can feel it! Your radiance is energy! The question for all of us, every day, is what, internally, are we allowing to drive our energy?

Remember, Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” When you use your energy with wisdom and God’s love, you’ll see the positive shifts in those around you and those you love.

Today’s Affirmation

Your light is beautiful. As you walk into rooms today, your radiance causes the energy in the room to shift positively. The way you move in this world directs people to God. Your light is lighting up your life, and others want to know the source of your beauty. You wisely share your source, which is the love and knowledge of Jesus. Everything about you radiates with beauty.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What belief will you remember while you are entering rooms today?

Day 5

Scriptures: James 1:5, James 2:14-17, James 4:8, Psalms 27:8

The Word of God confirms time after time that it is wise to rely on God for answers to the questions that you have. In James 1:5, the Bible tells us that in order to receive wisdom, all you have to do is ask for it. However, when you are seeking an answer from God, be ready if God asks you a question in return, to help you develop wisdom. Unlike Eve, who hid from God’s question, wisdom is cultivated when you choose to answer God’s question and learn to move when He moves.

A few questions God has asked me when I asked Him for deeper insight include:

  • “Have you been faithful over this small thing?”
  • “Did you do what I asked you to do?”
  • “Show me where you’ve been consistent with releasing control to Me?”

The promises of God are available to all, but in all of God’s promises, there is always a requirement – or a condition – for you to fulfill. The role you play in it all is ACTION. Your foundation is in God, and you move in His strength, but the operative word here is “move.” Faith without works is dead.

Do you need to believe, fast, pray, tithe, receive, trust, or call on God? Whatever you need to claim the full, complete promise from God is yours to act on after seeking Him for guidance.

Let’s look at all the examples of this in the Bible:

  • David called on the Lord and was saved.
  • Abraham believed, and as a result, God gave him righteousness and wealth.
  • Esther fasted and prayed, and her people were spared.

The words in bold, above, are the action each of these people took in response to wisdom. In example after example in the Bible, there was an intentional action from a person that drew a response from God.

Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you. It is in these quiet moments that He reveals Himself to you. Take action, but never allow the promises of God to be more important to you than His presence. The promise is a result of God’s presence, but it should never be the primary reason to be in His presence. The primary reason is always a relationship with Him, above all.

For everything you’re asking of God today, turn your prayer around by asking God what action you need to take, and what you need to release to Him to control.

God desires a relationship with you – so spend time listening, and you’ll receive more than the answer and direction on the right action to take that you’ve been looking for – you’ll receive access to the heart of God.

Today’s Affirmation

God is calling you deeper into His purpose and plan for your life. You see the many ways in which you were created for more. Godly expansion fills your mind and you know beyond knowing that God is here for you. The actions that God is directing you to take are becoming crystal clear, and you have peace. The surety of God’s direction is establishing rich, beautiful wisdom in your heart and mind today.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What action is God instructing you to take? If you don’t know yet, ask Him.

Day 6

Scriptures: Proverbs 31:27-29, Psalms 62:8

Everyone likes to talk about the virtuous woman in Bible without talking about howshe got to that place. The way she lived her life reveals an answer – she developed wisdom, and as a result, her household was peaceful and productive. There is a shift required when you are ready to become a virtuous woman, and even in this – the Bible provides a roadmap.

One of my mentors always states that there is a difference between being a “girl” and being a “woman.” She says that “just because you’re a female of a certain age doesn’t mean that you qualify to be a woman – a woman is someone who has cultivated her spirit and mind with wisdom in key areas of life.” A woman embodies the qualities that she wants to experience in the people around her.

A female who is still a “girl” carries an expectation that other people should have the qualities that she needs for them to have, whether she has them or not. She can talk to people “any kind of way” but gets mad when other people do the same to her. She can be a poor financial steward with a career that doesn’t inspire her but expects her husband to love his job and manage assets well. The results that a “girl” receives in her life will consistently reflect her lack of wisdom.

Revisiting Day 4 of this plan, we learned that God is the source of our radiance, and we also have established that wisdom is given by God when you ask for it. How did the virtuous woman get to where she was? I don’t believe she was born with the title “the virtuous woman”. I would suggest that she didn’t rely on her definition of beauty, but instead, relied on God to develop beauty in her. She released control, leaned into God, and she asked for wisdom. When she was directed by God to take the next step, she probably took that next step more times than she did not. When you cultivate yourself as a woman, you boldly take responsibility for asking God what he needs from you, as well as answering the questions God is asking you.

There is a shift required, and if you’re ready to receive better results, are you ready to try God’s plan? Think about the cultivation areas you want to focus on today and pray to God, asking Him for guidance. Let’s get to it!

Today’s Affirmation

Today, the qualities of the woman you desire to be, stand out to you. God is using His light to illuminate them in your life, bringing you clarity. You can now see where you want to allow God to work in your life, and you’re ready to give Him those areas you thought you had to handle on your own. God is enlightening you to the ideas He had about you before you were born, and you are receiving them with grace.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What’s the primary area you want to trade “being a girl” in for “being a woman”?

Day 7

Scriptures: 1 Samuel 25:24, Esther 5:4-5, Isaiah 40:31

Your words reveal your wisdom and show you where you are in your process of cultivating womanhood. One of the key lessons I learned early on about this shift from “girl” to “woman” is that a girl reacts; a woman responds. Choosing your words wisely is one of the hallmark qualities of many successful women in the Bible.

  • Abigail used her words to persuade David to have mercy on her family – 1 Samuel 25:24
  • Esther used her words to persuade her husband, the king, to develop a plan that ultimately resulted in her people being saved – Esther 5:4-5

Here’s one way you know you’ve moved from being “in your girl” to being “in your woman.” How many times have you experienced something that bothered you and gone to God first, instead of calling three friends, your mother, your therapist, your Pastor’s wife, and your sisters and cousins, claiming that “it wasn’t going to bother you anyway”? A woman knows the truth in the following: if it doesn’t bother you, stop talking about it. However, if it does bother you, recognize that BEing a woman means that you honestly acknowledge the hurt and seek God for heart-healing and forgiveness.

The successes in life that you are working towards require the character of a woman, not a girl. When a woman chooses to respond to situations in life, it is with wisdom, patience, and diligence. Excuses are excused, and she submits herself to the process that God is directing her to follow.

Just because you’re cultivating your womanhood doesn’t mean that you’re perfect. But it does mean that you have arrived at the understanding that you will cultivate the qualities you want to experience in life. It means you’re willing to cut, trim, and grow. When you walk in wisdom as a woman, you manage your life in such a way that your radiance shines, directing people to God. The experience of you doesn’t cause others to feel like you think you’re better than them. Instead, it inspires others to step their game up and find out more about the source of your radiance, peace, and joy…God.

Use wisdom to build in daily devotion time with God, preparing your spirit for the day. Lean into God when you’re encountered with anything that attempts to regress your progress. Rest your faith in the truth and reliability of God’s Word, and allow God to make a way for you as He’s promised He would do. Continue pursuing the plan God has for you, even when that plan is to simply sit and wait. This is the beauty that God custom-designed in advance, just for you.

Today’s Affirmation

Your presence is peaceful and radiant, and it inspires your surroundings, infusing them with beauty. There are simple things you’re noticing today that bring you joy. You’re inspired by God, moved by Him, and moving with Him. You’re in sync. You’re in the right place. You’re about to be overwhelmed by God’s blessings. God has you perfectly positioned for prosperity and the source of it all is His love.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What is your ideal vision of the woman you want to be?

Day 8

Scriptures: Proverbs 11:14, Proverbs 13:20

The successful, wise woman knows that she must keep learning, growing, and improving upon her current knowledge in order to reach new levels, and a part of that growth will happen when she decides to walk alongside other wise women.

I believe that everyone should have three groups of influence: one group of people they are pouring their knowledge into, one group of people they fellowship with on their level, and one group of people they can go to and learn from. On each level, you’re giving and you’re receiving – a little more or less depending on the group – and you are building an ecosystem of support and community to the point where your life and the lives of others are enhanced from the relationships. There is wisdom in cultivating these types of relationships – the Word confirms that “there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors.” (Proverbs 11:14)

The three types of groups every wise woman should actively develop in her life are:

Group One – Your Mentees: Develop a group of people to whom you can consistently give back. Did you know that the act of giving releases endorphins in your brain, reinforcing your happiness? You can lift your entire mood by giving something to someone else. Shifting your mental focus from you to others is healthy and good for you.

Group Two – Your Peers: Your choice of friends says a lot about you. Many times, you can grow so much that it’s possible to outgrow your old friends, placing you in a position to either redefine or release that relationship. You know you have the right group of friends when you exchange consistent trust and share mutual feedback.

Group Three – Your Mentor: Having a mentor is extremely important, and cultivating a relationship with a spiritually older woman who is wiser than you is essential to your growth. This woman may be younger than you in age, but spiritually, is your elder – and that’s ok! You need someone who can help you along the way, who you can call when you need confirmation or guidance.

Having these three groups in your life will cause your “multitude of counselors” to be well-rounded and maintain your position of learning and growing.

Today’s Affirmation

There is an anointing on your life for wisdom. Every day, your knowledge is growing and your understanding is deepening. You naturally attract relationships that allow you to both give wisdom and receive wisdom. You have the right answers. You have the correct responses. You are blessed to know. You are being ushered into the spaces God has ordained for you.

Day 9

Scriptures: Proverbs 4:7, Matthew 11:28, Psalms 62:1

Take a moment, step back and reflect on your spiritual growth. You should begin to see evidence of just how much God has equipped you with the tools, experiences, and gifts necessary to live your life in a way that glorifies Him. The supernatural miracle in this is that when we grow in Christ, we are blessed with a covering that keeps us moving in the right direction and serves as a barrier of protection as we face any new challenges on our way to the success God has in mind.

When we fully surrender to God, wisdom covers and protects us from continuing cycles and patterns that no longer serve us. It enables us to tap into a deeper knowledge, one that informs where we need to work, and where we need to have faith. This knowledge is wisdom.

There’s a real difference between working consistently and working “hard”. I remember when I believed that work had to be hard to be successful. Hustle culture speaks loudly, causing us to believe 14-16 hour workdays are the only way to success. With wisdom as our path, we are able to pause and consider how God is moving. We move when God moves. Our spiritual senses are honed and we develop the insight to see that God is going before us, preparing the way. Faith shows us that it is possible to believe in what we cannot see.

I’ve seen in my own life and in coaching so many other women that believing you are worthy of God’s covering, His blessings, and His miracles – can require past, deep-seated beliefs to be replaced. When you’re covered by God’s wisdom, you understand that you’re worthy of rest, peace, ease, miracles, and more. You may be used to struggling for your success, but today, I want you to know that in His presence, there IS rest, there IS peace, and all things can work together for your good!

Today’s Affirmation

God’s wisdom is your covering. Everything you need is being provided by Him today. As you invest your faith in wisdom, you are receiving miraculous returns. As you begin your day powerfully in His presence, God is leading you and inspiring you. You are embracing your worthiness in Christ, and receiving it fully. God’s wisdom is covering you and providing you with peace.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

How can you apply the wisdom you’ve gained from your life’s lessons to cover you?

Day 10

Scriptures: Proverbs 3:5, Acts 1:9, 1 Thessalonians 5:24, Numbers 23:19, John 3:16, Philippians 4:13

The more you progress into the full richness of life that God has for you, the more you’re called to surrender. It seems counterintuitive to be asked to give up more when you actually want to receive more. But it is in your surrendering that you hand the control of this new level back to God. It’s almost as if you’re saying “God, I know I’m elevating, and even now, I surrender to you.”

Your surrender requires strength. Just a heads up – your surrender may cause some tears…your own and those of others. Be encouraged, though, because Psalm 30:5 shares that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Your surrender might result in the stability you’ve always known being replaced with a new, irrefutable foundation from God. It will elevate your position. Your surrender is one of the few cases where laying down your life actually causes it to elevate…just like Christ’s life did when He chose to surrender.

The good news is that it is in your surrender, every desire God has placed in you can be suddenly and miraculously drawn into your life. Know this – the doors that God opens…no man can shut. Ultimately, your life is in God’s hands. It’s so good to know that God will complete the good work He has started in you. God will do in you what He promised He would do. How do you know that God will do it? We can believe God because:

  • He is faithful to His Word. “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24
  • He is not a man that He should lie. “God is not man, that He should lie…”Numbers 23:19

Through His amazing demonstration of love, your Heavenly Father sent Jesus, who sacrificed His life for a purpose, which was to bring you into eternal life. What greater blessing is there than this?

Today, I encourage you to keep your faith. Invest in wisdom to finish the race that’s before you – no matter what that race is. Whatever is set before you, know that you have what it takes to finish it, simply because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, God is showing you just how special your life is to Him – He loves you and He is with you. He is keeping you and blessing you as you live a life full of meaning and purpose. You are being celebrated by God, you are His treasure. You are worthy of this knowledge. Right now, allow the reassurance of this knowledge to settle in your spirit. Savor it, understanding that your God has a plan for you and that you will receive every good and perfect gift He has for you.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What will you surrender in order to see more of God’s rich blessings in your life?
