“Dear Lord, times are really hard right now and life has really got me down. I don’t know what to do. I ask that You bestow Your wisdom upon me. I don’t want to lean on my own knowledge anymore, because it has let me down so many times. I need to hear Your voice. Give me the discernment to hear Your voice and Your voice alone. Speak to me in the way You know I will hear you best. I also pray for Your Will, Lord. I give You the praise and the glory in my circumstances because I know that I am exactly where You want me. I know this is to teach me something or to help me to grow. No matter what, I trust you and ask You to show what is best in this situation. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.”
“Loving Father, You have promised to lead me and to guide me through ever step of my life. I am coming to you now Lord, because I am facing a decision that I need to make and I am not really sure which way to go. In my heart Lord, I know that if I am seeking You first in my life and walking in spirit and truth, then You will be there, guiding my every step and leading me in the path that is best for me. Give me peace in my heart as I make this difficult choice and may I live my life as is pleasing to You. Thank You, Lord, that You have promised to be with me every step of the way. May I walk and live in a way that is pleasing to You, Amen.”
“Dear Lord, give me an undivided heart, so that I may walk in Your truth in confidence all the days of my life. Teach me Your will, as You hold me in the hollow of Your hand. Help me, in all situations of life to be willing and say, as the Lord Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, “Your will not mine be done.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“Father God, You alone are the Captain of my life and the Anchor of my soul. You alone are the Hope in which I rest, and the Rock on which I stand. Steer the course of my life in the direction as You know is best for me and may I be willing to go wherever You send me, no matter what the cost or difficulties that I may have to face. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient, and that no matter which way the storms of life toss my life, I have a safe harbour in You. Thank You, Lord, Amen.”
“Father God, I draw near to you as I make this decision. Lord, I confess the anxieties, fears and insecurities which arise within me. I draw nearer to your heart for this world and nearer to your heart for me. Lord, guide my thoughts to be clear and free as I consider the options. May I know your wisdom in this process. I draw into your kingdom promises, and I breathe in your hope. Lord, bring clarity into this situation. Please bless me with renewed vision and a clear calling from you. I draw into your loving care and to your presence, for here I know that no matter what my decision, you are always with me, I am not alone. Thank you, Amen.”
“God, you are the love of my soul. You are kind, you are the only true King. You are the only true God, and I put myself in your hands. You have turned your eyes to me. You believed me and were happy with me. God, you long for unity with me and improve the work you have begun in me. You are a loving Father; you know me well. You know how you created me. You know what steps are planned for my future. Because you know everything, and I trust you so I can rest in your shadow. God, since you love me, I can trust that your intentions are beneficial to me. Also, when I don’t see, understand, or worry, I can believe your truth. Your plans are the best for me, and you will be faithful. Amen.“
“Lord, I have a hard time deciding what to do. I am afraid to make the wrong decision, and this torments me greatly. Therefore, I turn to you and ask for your help. Show me your will in this decision. Give me peace of mind in the next steps! Thank you for your inspiration and advice. I am sure you hear me, and you hear my heart approaching you. I look forward to delivering on your promises and words. I seek your will every day as long as I live the life you give me. I know you will open the doors that need to be opened and you will close the ones that need to be closed. I go boldly, knowing that you are going with me! Amen.“
