Day 1
Scripture: 1 John 4:19
He First Loved Us.
“We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Love”, used in 1 John 4:19 is ‘agapaō’ (G25) which means, “To welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to love dearly.” We love Christ because, He first loved us. Choose to welcome Christ in every area of your life. Choose to welcome Christ in every area of your heart. Choose to submit and surrender every area over to Him.
Who do you love more than God? What do you Love more than God? What do you welcome in your heart? Do you spend more time focusing on your career than you do worshipping God? Do you worship your business more than you honor God? Do you worship your family more than you trust in God? Do you love or welcome the things of this world over God’s Way of doing things? Choose to love God because He first loved us.
God loves you deeply. In fact, He loves every part of you. He created you. He formed every facet of you. He created every aspect of your personality. He created every aspect of your heart. He created every fiber of your soul. Choose to love Christ. Choose to place Christ as priority in every season of your life.
Let Christ lead your character. Let Christ lead your career. Let Christ lead your business. Let Christ lead your ministry. Let Christ lead your home. Let Christ lead your family. Let Christ lead every aspect of your life. He vehemently cares about you and He loves you deeply. There are no words that can articulate how much God loves you.
Day 2
Scriptures: John 3:16, 1 John 5:1-4, 1 Peter 5:7, Isaiah 10:27
God Gave His Best.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV
There are no words that can articulate how much God loves you. In fact, He loves you so much that God gave His Son. His only Son — Jesus Christ. God gave His very best. Love is not self-centered. Love gives. Love is selfless. Love grows. Love matures.
1 John 5:1-4 KJV declares, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Choose to obey Christ. Choose to obey His Word. Choose to follow His Commandments. When you receive Christ you are His. When you surrender to His way of doing things you are an overcomer. His love gives you victory. God loves you so much that He wants you to cast every concern, every care, every worry, every injustice over to Him.
1 Peter 5:7 KJV declares, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” God Loves you tremendously. Let God break that yoke of bondage from off of your heart. Don’t take on that weight. Let God lift that burden. Let God remove that struggle. Let His love remove that addiction. Let His love take away the sin, shame and torment of the past.
Isaiah 10:27 KJV declares, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” His love destroys yokes. The love of Christ breaks burdens. His love is greater than your problem. The love of Christ is greater than your shame. His love removes the past and brings you forward into His future.
Day 3
Scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11, 1 John 4:18, Psalms 27:10
The Lord Has Better For You.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
Love will restore your hope. Love will reset your expectation. Love will conquer your fears. Love will restore your soul. Love knows your expected end. Look to God. For God is Love. His love will heal you. His love will make you whole. His love will make you complete. For there is nothing like the love of God.
1 John 4:18 KJV declares, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” His Love drives out fear. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “torment” is, ‘kolasis’ (G2851) which means, “Correction, punishment, penalty.” God’s love is perfect. God’s love corrects. God’s love restores. God’s love reconciles. His love is complete. There is no fear, no torment or bondage in His love. His love will set you free.
In 1 John 4:18 KJV, according to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “love” used in 1 John 4:18 is ‘agapē’ (G26) which means, “Love, love-feasts”.
Jesus Christ fulfilled every point of the law. He was and is the Word of God manifested in the flesh. He was and is Agapē in the flesh. His Life, death and resurrection was and is the full manifestation of God’s love. His love will never leave you. His love will never forsake you. God is Love.
Psalms 27:10 KJV declares, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.” When others forsake you — God will never leave you. When others abandon you — Love will never forsake you. God is Love. His love is greater than worldly promises. His love is eternal. His love is everlasting. His love has no end. Surrender to Love. Return to His love.
