A conservative organization based in Southern California is promoting what it calls a “MAGA Invasion” of Disneyland—an event the theme park has not authorized and is not associated with.

The group, known as 805 Patriots, announced the gathering on Nov. 19 through a Facebook post, inviting supporters to join them at Disneyland next February. The organization, which takes its name from the Central Coast’s 805 area code, regularly stages political events and sells branded merchandise, and has built a sizable digital following with more than 32,000 Instagram followers and 11,000 on TikTok.

According to the flyer they circulated, the meetup is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, though the group says a more detailed program will be released as the date approaches. Participants are encouraged to show up wearing “Patriots in the Park” shirts and red MAGA hats. Purchasing one of the shirts—which the group frames as a kind of RSVP—signals that attendees have bought their Disneyland tickets independently.

Flags, including MAGA flags, are explicitly discouraged, since Disneyland’s rules prohibit them inside the park.

The group’s website now features a collection of “Make Disney Great Again” merchandise, including shirts and hoodies decorated with a silhouette of a Revolutionary War–era patriot waving the Betsy Ross flag in front of a stylized Disney castle.

In follow-up comments on Facebook, the group explained how the idea emerged: they ran a poll of their followers asking which amusement park should host the MAGA-themed gathering. Disneyland received the most votes—beating Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags—by several thousand.

Some potential attendees questioned the wisdom of giving money to Disney, which many conservatives criticize for political and cultural reasons. In response, 805 Patriots said the purpose of the visit is twofold: to allow conservative families a chance to enjoy the park together and to provoke what they described as “triggering as many liberals as possible in their home turf.”

Disneyland routinely sees a range of unofficial fan-organized events—like Dapper Day or Villains Day—but such gatherings are not coordinated by the resort. While guests are allowed to visit as part of large groups, the park reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who violates appearance guidelines or any other rules.

Interestingly, another unofficial event is planned for the exact same date. Gay Days Anaheim, an LGBTQ-themed fan weekend not affiliated with Disneyland, has announced that its “Mini Gay Days” festivities will take place that same weekend, with meetups scheduled inside the park.

Representatives for Disneyland and for 805 Patriots did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
