In a recent interview, Ratcliffe claimed that key figures involved in the Russia collusion narrative—including Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey, and former CIA Director John Brennan—may have lied under oath and could be subject to prosecution if their testimonies contradict newly emerging intelligence.

Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo asked Ratcliffe whether the statute of limitations still applies in such cases. Ratcliffe responded by saying new evidence, contained in a classified document referred to as the “Durham annex,” is set to be declassified and may reveal that the Russia investigation stemmed from a political plan by Hillary Clinton and was fueled by the FBI.

Ratcliffe argued that the intelligence points to a coordinated effort: “Part of this was a Hillary Clinton plan,” he said, adding that the FBI allegedly played a role in amplifying the false narrative through the infamous Steele dossier, a 2016 report compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.

He also noted that several officials testified about the investigation within the last five years, which falls within the statute of limitations for perjury or false statements to Congress or the DOJ.

“They conspired against President Trump and the American people,” Ratcliffe alleged, adding that further investigation and possible charges would be left to figures like former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Trump aide Kash Patel.

A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton did not respond to media inquiries. However, some critics questioned why Ratcliffe didn’t release the documents during his time as Director of National Intelligence under Trump.

Meanwhile, current DNI Tulsi Gabbard recently declassified documents she claims show that Obama-era intelligence leaders manipulated information to justify investigating Trump’s 2016 campaign. Gabbard says she has turned the materials over to the Department of Justice for possible prosecution.

Separately, lawmakers on Capitol Hill voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton over their alleged ties to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The motion also seeks to compel testimony from other high-profile Democrats, including former AGs Eric Holder and Merrick Garland, and former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who led the original Russia investigation.
