Trump Orders Flags to Half-Staff for Charlie Kirk

In solemn tribute to the legacy of Charlie Kirk, and acting under the authority granted by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, I hereby declare that the flag of the United States shall be lowered to half‐staff at the White House, as well as on all public buildings, grounds, military installations, naval stations, and federal vessels across the District of Columbia, the United States, its Territories, and possessions, until sunset on September 14, 2025. Likewise, I order that U.S. flags at all diplomatic missions—including embassies, legations, consular offices, and associated military and naval facilities abroad—be lowered for the same period.

In witness of this proclamation, I affix my signature on this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty‑five, and in the two‑hundred‑and‑fiftieth year of the independence of the United States of America.
