I'm about to walk away and turn my back on God for good

Maybe one day I will be back, but I can’t do this anymore. I don’t for the life of me, understand why God kicks people when they’re down. At their lowest, and he still piles it on. Life is not meant to be perfect, but where is He when people need him? Nowhere.

I’m sorry that you’re feeling low.

God doesn’t kick people when they’re down. He doesn’t put anything on us at all. The devil uses normal life experience like anger, disappointment, false expectations etc to take us away from God when we’re feeling vulnerable.

I will pray for you.

I agree with ChubbyCherub. Just because God isn’t big and flashy, doesn’t mean he isn’t there. Satans number 1 goal is to pull down our faith in the Lord. This world is never meant to be easy, and it’s going to be hard. From homelessness, to sickness, to pain and other issues that we have to face and its the enemy that piles on more just to add more weight to the burdens we all carry. But God doesn’t necessarily take away the issues, he does however help you through them. I will pray for you and pray that you see where God’s invisible hand is in your life despite the struggles you may currently face. That it is because of God’s hand, that you aren’t completely crushed by the world and by the enemy.

God never gives us more than we can handle.

I will pray for you.

Where will you go, to sin and shame to drugs and alcohol? How will you cope Without Jesus in your life. Guilt is not of the lord for the Christian buddy. But it’s the norm on the outside.

sometimes we can have an over developed conscience. I know mine gives me fits sometimes. But with God we can work on it. It’s the truth that sets you free. That won’t change. Running is not the answer.

prayer, 2Cor 10:3-7. Gods tools, Gods direction, guidance, love. That’s the answer. You don’t have to be perfect all of a sudden. Repent, try, get ewith God, read your Bible, new life. It does get hard but at least you have a fighting chance. Rom 8:28 no condemnation , to those in Christ Jesus. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Tell Him.

Paul was shipwrecked, beaten and stoned nearly to death several times, and imprisoned many times. Of it he said:

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5
