Day 1

Scriptures: Luke 1:37, Psalms 115:3, 2 Corinthians 12:19, Matthew 5:48

Where clarity comes from

There’s a lot competing for your focus. Day to day, it’s easy to start to worry or get anxious when we try to figure it all out on our own. Worry and anxiety don’t always begin over something “bad” – sometimes, the trigger is something good that you become afraid won’t work out. The more we focus on the situation, the more it can cause us to lose sight of where our focus should be for maintaining our peace and joy…on God.

Worrying over a good thing happened to me recently. My husband was recruited for a new job opportunity, and immediately, being the Type A personality I am, I began projecting 6 and 12 months out. I started wondering what was going to happen with our kids, how would this affect our oldest and youngest? When exactly would all the changes need to be made? Did we need to buy or sell a house? It all started consuming my mind. Over just a few days, I found myself nervous, wondering if everything would work out. When I took my concern before God in my intimate prayer and meditation time, God showed me that the reason I was worrying was because my focus was on the opportunity and everything surrounding it – not on Him. God wanted me to understand that no matter what, He is in control.

Whenever you begin focusing more on the situation than on God, you invite worry, anxiety, depression, and fear into your life. Why? Because in God, we find perfect peace, peace that cannot be found in any other thing.

Placing all your expectations on man is a strategy that will always fail in some area. Man is not perfect, but God is. If you are currently fighting against worry, anxiety, depression, confusion or fear, this message is for you. What expectations have you placed in man that you need to shift to God? When your primary focus is outside of God, God will always provide you opportunities to refocus on Him. This is one of those opportunities. Decide today that you’ll finish this plan and obtain the clarity you came here for!

When you walk in worry, you’ve already decided what God can and can’t do. The key to overcoming worry is found in realizing three truths:

Nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37 says that with God, absolutely nothing is impossible. Anything that needs to happen, can, because God is all-powerful.

God is sovereign. Psalm 115:3 shares that God can do whatever pleases Him. We are subject to God’s perfect plan. Matthew 5:48 confirms that God is perfect in all His ways.

God’s grace is sufficient for you. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says that God’s grace is all we need. Whether we consider the outcome “good” or “bad,” God has given us His grace to rest in, and it is all we need.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, the shift of your expectations from man to God is beginning. You can feel the shift; it feels like you’re being lifted into a clearer space. You’re recognizing the sovereignty of God in your life and the immense grace that He’s provided for you. It is sufficient and satisfying for you. Everything you need, your God has already provided for you and His perfect peace is growing stronger and stronger in your thoughts and in your life.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What expectation are you placing on man that you should shift to God?

Day 2

Scriptures: Romans 12:2, Romans 8:28, Matthew 18:2-4, Philippians 4:6

How to shift into clarity

As we move into clarity, our vision begins to crystalize. As we examine where our expectations are grounded, we can shift our focus. Our God can do anything. He is perfect and sovereign – meaning He can do what He wills and the outcome is always what should be. If we know that He has given us sufficient grace for every situation, we must realize that accessing this grace and exchanging worry for peace requires that we renew and refocus our minds on Him.

The moment I turned my focus back to God, I reprioritized my mind and dismissed the worrisome thoughts. As a result, I experienced peace. Sometimes the clarity you’re looking for is not knowing the endgame for how something will work out. True clarity is the security you experience in knowing that through God’s grace, it has already been worked out for you. This is clarity of spirit! Everything in your life is working out for the best as you prioritize God and walk with Him in love. The more you walk with God, the more you realize an important truth. Knowing it has already been worked out is a far more powerful realization than knowing how it will work out. (read that again)

Clarity begins with shifting your focus. At some point, everyone experiences worry or a lack of clarity that is frustrating. The key is dismissing those thoughts before they turn into beliefs. A belief is a thought that you think over and over again until it is ingrained in your mind and emotions. You can change your thoughts, which change your beliefs, which in turn change your life by bringing you the peace and security that come with clarity. It’s an active process defined in three steps:

Step 1: Identify the WHAT. What expectations are you placing on anything other than God? These are the seeds that will grow into lack of clarity and progress to worry.

Step 2: Prioritize God in each of those areas. Determine what God has said about each of these areas of your life. This is God’s truth. Intentionally match each of your thoughts with the truth of what God has already said.

Step 3: Intentionally think the thoughts of God. Determine to be reNEWed. Re means “to do it again.” New means “introduced for the first time.” Each time a thought arises in your mind, think about God’s truth again like it’s your first time.

This means approaching it with the wonder and excitement of a child, who anticipates joy and expects the best.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, you’re renewing your mind and creating clarity by creating new beliefs. This moment-by-moment intention is placing your gaze, your vision, and your eyesight on God, and removing your focus from your job, your husband, your relationships, your boss, your money, your children, your mother, your father, and even yourself. You’ve prioritized God, and in turn, He is giving you peace that surpasses understanding. Today, you’re realizing that more than ever, it ALL has already been worked out for you.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

Are you ready to commit to exchanging your thoughts for God’s thoughts?

Day 3

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:14-18

Removing the veil

Exchanging your thoughts for God’s thoughts is a new process, and to be honest, new things that create change sometimes feel uncomfortable. Allow me to normalize this for you – we all go through this when we change. You are literally breaking up with your old thought life, which may be comfortable because it’s familiar, but when you do, you accelerate your ability to achieve clarity. The Bible says that when we turn towards God, the veil is removed.

“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

2 Corinthians 3:14-18 describes “the veil”. What is “the veil”? The veil represents a separation from God. It shows up in our lives as a closed mind (v.14) and a hardening heart (v.15). The irony is that none of this feels good emotionally but removing the veil (v. 16) and rejoining your mind and heart with God is what creates freedom (v.17), which feels wonderful.

So, my question for you today is, how have you been feeling? Could you stand to feel more joy in your life?

As you shift your thoughts into alignment with God’s thoughts, your mind opens, and your heart becomes softer to the will and purposes of God. The veil becomes lifted, and you experience the beauty of a life lived in the light. You begin seeing with clarity and enjoying the satisfaction of it. You are reassured that with God, all things are possible.

From this vantage point, you realize that your previous mindset and way of thinking could never have produced clarity. Focusing with clarity on things outside of God was like playing a game of Jenga. You were taking pieces out of the middle or bottom and placing them on top, hoping the entire tower of blocks didn’t collapse. Prioritization of God positions you so that you’re no longer allowing what should be at the bottom to come first. You’re putting the first things first when you intentionally think God’s thoughts about your life instead of your own.

Continuing in thoughts that aren’t prioritized this way produces the inevitable, just like in Jenga. When you constantly remove pieces from the bottom, the tower always collapses. This is what the enemy wants – to destroy your clarity so that you remain veiled and separated from God. Today, pay attention to how you’re feeling and record areas of your life in need of clarity in your journal.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, enjoy opening your heart and mind to God. As you turn towards God, God is becoming more magnified in your heart and mind, and you’ll realize that He’s already overtaken every problem. He has provided the solution as He IS the solution. You’ll enjoy His expansive provision as you go through your day today.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

Ask God to show you where the veil needs to be lifted in your thoughts. If you already know, journal it.

Day 4

Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 3:18, 1 Corinthians 14:33, Isaiah 43:19, Matthew 21:22

How to begin turning towards God

If you’ve been a part of any BWFwoman immersive Christian learning experiences like #10DAYPRAYANDSLAY you’ve probably heard me say the following “every round goes higher and higher.” Essentially, what I’m saying is that with every topic we master, there’s another level to experience.

One day, I was talking with one of my masterclass students, and she said, “I just feel like it sounds like it never ends – it’s a lot of work.” I quickly shared with her that it IS a lot of work if you had to do it yourself, but you don’t. The Word shares that when you turn towards God, He makes you more and more like Him. Not you – HIM. He does the transformation work in you and on your behalf.

There’s a rich word here for you in this today. God is the one who will make you more and more like Him; all you must do is turn towards Him and remain turned towards Him. This is such a divine realization that produces immediate clarity in your life if you comprehend it. You may have been doing this life on your own for a long time! You no longer have to be the one. You no longer have to do it all. You are no longer by yourself. None of the lies the enemy told you about being alone have a place in your life. In fact, I proclaim freedom from those past thoughts over you in Jesus’ name! The entire process of transforming your mind is not on you; it is simply initiated by you. You must take the first step, and that first step is turning towards God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 describes what happens when you turn towards God:

You are being changed by Him. The transformation needed to shift into clarity is caused by God.

You are being unified by Him. Christ unifies you with Himself by transforming you into His image.

You are being developed by Him. God makes you more and more like Him with every moment.

How do you turn towards God?

Actively replace your thoughts with His and receive clarity: Everything you’ve been looking for to bring you into clarity and out of worry or confusion is found in God’s thoughts. In His thoughts, there is no confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33

Keep closed doors closed: If a door has closed in your life, know that God has simply anointed you for greater. You can be open to the new thing He’s doing in your life because anything God is bringing you into is better than what you left behind. Isaiah 43:19 #thisorbetter

Expect the power of God in your life: There’s nothing you “have to do” to bring yourself into God’s blessing except turn towards Him and remain turned towards Him. When you do, you’re in the blessed place. Matthew 21:22

 Today’s Affirmation

You are being blessed with God’s strength. The clarity of God is bringing you peace. The fruitfulness of God is causing you to produce with ease. The provision of God is meeting every need and desire. There is no room for worry in this process. There is only room for clarity, freedom, and peace.

Clarity is accelerating and filling your space, and you’re discovering that although it causes a change in your life, the transformation process into freedom and clarity results in peace. Peace feels so much better than worry.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What do you now know that God will handle in your life that you previously thought was all your responsibility?

Day 5

Scriptures: Luke 10:38-42, Jeremiah 29:13

Beware of distractions

The enemy of clarity is distraction. A Harvard study recently shared that, on average, our minds are lost in thought 47% of the time and mind-wandering is a direct cause of unhappiness. It went on to say that most people focus attention on one thing for just 40 seconds before giving attention to something else.

Experiencing captivating clarity in our lives requires us to do one thing and keep doing that one thing—turning towards God. Distraction can keep you from turning towards God the first time, or even the 100th time, in part because we live in a culture that provides opportunities to be easily distracted.

I took my daughter to get her annual “back to school” hairstyle, which was a flat ironed, straight style. Usually, I braid it for protection from the elements, and she rarely sees how long it is. After her stylist washed and conditioned her hair, she began blow drying it and then, in small sections, began flat ironing her hair at a high temperature. We told her to stay very still so she wouldn’t get burned, but like a typical little girl, she was distracted from our instructions and just had to peek in the mirror to see how long her hair was. When she moved her head suddenly, she winced when she felt the heat of that flat iron on her scalp.

Sometimes, we get ahead of God when we get distracted, and the primary culprit is impatience. Impatience causes you to move suddenly, which can sometimes cause you pain. Impatience is a restlessness that causes you to make a move you weren’t ready for, especially when you think there’s a delay in receiving what God promised you.

Impatience distracts you from clarity in three ways:

Being compelled to see what God isn’t ready for you to see yet

The desire to know the outcome and how everything is going to work out

The need to experience results NOW because you want to skip “this part”

If you want clarity, you must become intentional about releasing impatience by turning towards God every day. Distraction has less of a hold in your mind when you turn towards God. Begin with 5 minutes of prayer and meditation (meditation on God’s Word) every morning and add time from there. Remember, as you turn towards God, He will do the transformation work in you.

For me, this looks like settling my mind in Christ each morning with scripture that counters the thoughts that cause me to prioritize God lower than my daily tasks.

So how can you intentionally create space to listen to God?

1. Schedule intimate prayer and meditation on God’s Word daily

2. Choose a scripture in the Bible that is counter to the thoughts that cause you to worry or lack clarity

3. Read and focus on that scripture

4. Pray. Ask God what He wants you to know about that scripture

5. Write down what you hear. Keep a record of it to reference!

Today’s Affirmation

Today, as you seek God, you will find Him. As you seek Him with your whole heart, He will reveal His heart to you. Your focus and clarity will improve, and you’ll be brought into the understanding He has for you. You’ll go through your day today with a feeling of confidence because you know that God is on your side. The blessing of God is covering your life today.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What areas of life are causing you to feel impatient? Renew your commitment to spend time with God – what will that look like for you?

Day 6

Scriptures: Philippians 4:11-13, 2 Corinthians 12:9, John 3:27, Psalms 121:1-2

The secret key to clarity

Contentment is a feeling of rich satisfaction combined with deep abiding joy, and it’s a feeling that most of us dream of experiencing regularly. But what we don’t know is that contentment is the secret key to clarity, and it’s available to us at all times. We access contentment when we place priority on God instead of on things or people.

Contentment doesn’t necessarily mean being satisfied where you are to the point where you are not motivated to move forward; rather, it is knowing God’s plan for your life and believing that God’s peace is greater than the world’s problems. Contentment strengthens your spiritual vision and clarity.

You can be content even if things in your life don’t look justifiably worthy of your contentment right now. In fact, practicing contentment is based on the truth that God’s grace is sufficient for you.

Contentment says, “I’m going to continue looking in the direction of God and His truths in my life, and I’m going to enjoy myself, right here – right now.”

What is the secret key in mastering contentment? There are three things you must remember:

1. Settle down in God because Christ is our TRUE HOME. Contentment is hidden in the knowledge that Christ is our true home. This is the knowledge that you gain when you spend time in exchanging your thoughts with God’s in prayer and meditation on His Word, detoxing from habits and patterns outside of His will, and sweetening your life with habits and patterns that are within His will. When you settle down in God, you allow the knowledge of God’s promises to cover things that look outside of our control or understanding. You’re trusting God because you’re saying with your mind and heart that you believe God’s Word over all.

2. Know that you are always right where you are supposed to be. Knowing that you are always right where you are supposed to be, causes you to surrender what you think it should be and allow God’s sovereignty to reign. Sovereignty provides security that all things are under God’s rule and control and that nothing happens without His direction or permission. Stay present to the moment that you’re in and appreciate ways to enjoy this season.

3. Realize your power. You obtain POWER over the world and over your circumstances when you live in contentment. If the secret of contentment is trusting God, where’s the power? Paul shared that because he learned how to be content, he then was empowered to do ALL things through Christ. That means whatever instructions God gives you, you have the power to implement!

Move into a disposition of contentment by saying a silent prayer of contentment that has become a common prayer in my manifestHER Daily Facebook group. Instead of looking at your situation and focusing with clarity on what is wrong, focus with clarity on what is RIGHT. Then, seal that prayer by saying “this or better, Lord” and allow this prayer to raise your level of expectation. Expect this, or better and continue to look up to God – this is where your help comes from.

This is the secret key to contentment.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, your gratitude and contentment in Christ is opening new pathways for you to believe. Your belief is growing stronger each moment of the day, and you’re walking by faith. Your hope is being strengthened in God, and you realize that you can do all things through Christ, who is shaping you into His image. Contentment and the joy found only in contentment are yours today.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What can you pray the prayer of contentment “this or better, Lord” over today?

Day 7

Scriptures: Psalms 16:11, John 14:27, Ecclesiastes 2:24, Mark 11:23, Joel 2:25, Psalms 91:2-3

Clarity is a lifestyle

What’s your favorite store? I hear you right now – Amazon, Target, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Gap, Ross, TJ Maxx, H&M, Zara! Chances are you love shopping at one or more of these stores for more than just the products they sell. You love it because there’s a certain way that the store makes you feel, and there’s a satisfaction that you get when you shop there. This customer experience is intentional, and it’s called lifestyle marketing. Companies that are great at lifestyle marketing create lifelong customers who never want to leave their stores.

Through this Bible app plan, we’re mapping the foundation for a new lifestyle and creating a life that we truly enjoy and look forward to waking up to. We’re interested in a life with no regrets, one that is full of light and joy.

Being happy, enjoying your life, and feeling great is not just meant to be temporary feelings that you turn on and off; they’re a part of your divine inheritance, and they are, in large part, the direct result of living your life with clarity. Clarity is a lifestyle, and when you can see clearly, the result is more:

Joy

Peace

Enjoyment

Miracles

Restoration

Security

Say YES if you need any more of the above! If you want to change what you’re experiencing, you need to change how you think. Nothing changed for me until I changed my mind and began replacing my old, toxic thoughts with God’s. It was clarity that led me to my first step and helped me to see what needed improving.

How clarity can become more of a lifestyle for you

Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest) for the questions below:

Am I honoring God first in my day?

Have I replaced toxic thoughts with scriptures that reflect God’s truth?

Am I willing to surrender my need to end this season with patience for the process?

Am I taking breaks from things that cause distraction?

Do I write down what God is showing me?

Am I practicing contentment?

Am I turning towards God more and more?

Do the people around me encourage and support me in this clarity lifestyle?

Do I have more peace and less worry?

Am I assured that God will show me what I need to see?

A score of 10 for each question would equal 100 points but remember that developing this “clarity lifestyle” is a process. Believe that God can today, and He WILL.

Today’s Affirmation

The miracles and manifestations of God in your life are occurring in ways that are undeniable, and God’s glory rests on your life. People will begin asking you how it is that you live your life with such clarity and peace with all that is happening in the world, and your answers will give the glory to God. This lifestyle creates a radiance that shines, attracting beauty. You are worthy of this and better.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What would cause you to be even more excited about waking up to a new day?

Day 8

Scriptures: Isaiah 64:8, Matthew 27:51, Isaiah 54:1-3

Going beyond the Veil

Growing up in Florida, visiting Disney World was an annual pastime. At the time, I didn’t know anyone my age who wasn’t excited about the rides, the food, and the fun. The days leading up to my school’s annual trip were full of anticipation and my friends and I could barely sleep the night before.

On the day of our trip, we arrived at the Disney property and took the monorail to the theme park. When we arrived at the gate, our teacher realized she had left the tickets on the bus, and she had to go all the way back to get them. We had gotten to the park, but we couldn’t get into the park.

So far in this Bible plan, we’ve come to the place of clarity, and now it’s time to go into the depths of clarity.

We learned on Day 2 that when you begin turning towards God, God removes the “veil” – the hardness of mind and heart that maintains a separation from Him. This removal allows you to be open to the clarity, peace, and so much more that God has for you. The removal of this veil is the first blessing you receive when you turn towards God.

Having the veil removed makes you moldable in God’s hands, as He is the Potter and you are the clay. He begins molding and shaping you in His image, and the things that used to be second nature to you no longer feel the same. As He transforms you in the spirit, you’ll see the change in the physical.

But what happens beyond the veil? What happens when we actually step into the place of clarity? I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to settle for just arriving at the gates; I want to go IN. If you’re like me, you didn’t come this far to just look through the gates at everything you’ve been praying about, you want to actually experience it all.

A different veil is mentioned in Matthew 27:51, which shares that when Jesus died, the veil of the temple was ripped in two from top to bottom. The veil in the temple separated the Holy place from the Holiest of Holies. The Holiest of Holies was where only priests could enter, it was where God’s glory resides. When Jesus died, yet again, the veil of separation from the Holiest place of God was removed.

We can now go into the place where true freedom, clarity, grace, peace, and joy (and so much more) resides. We can say, “I reside in an abundant place,” no matter where we are or what is happening in our lives. We can enter into the Holiest of Holies through prayer and meditation on God’s Word at any moment and at any time.

When you go into this place, beyond the veil, know that:

If you’ve been feeling limited, you have full access.

If you’ve been feeling forgotten, you are remembered.

If you’ve been feeling lost, you are found in Christ.

Everything you need, you now have in Him.

Today’s Affirmation

Today, your ability to go IN is creating space for you. A miraculous, wide-open space is making a way for you beyond the veil. You’re able to go forward and stretch wide. You can go deep, and as you do, you’re receiving a full refreshing in your spirit, mind, and body. You will look and see with clarity, and as far as you can see, the territory is yours. Everywhere you step is miraculously blessed.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

When you look beyond the “veil” in your life – what is God showing you? What do you see?

Day 9

Scriptures: Esther 2:15-16, Esther 8:3-5, Esther 8:16-17, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:20, Proverbs 3:5, 1 Peter 5:7

Obedience prepares you for clarity

To obtain any blessing from God, obedience is required, but honestly, it’s not a popular topic. We live in a culture that glorifies being able to do what you want to do when you want to do it. We want what we want, and we want it now, and this way of being is opposed to a lifestyle that creates captivating clarity in Christ.

In the Biblical story of Esther, we see how she was brought to the palace, and after being prepared for 12 months, she was brought into the king’s presence. She found favor with the king, which later served her as she was able to go back into his presence with a request that saved her people, the Jews.

When we think of Esther, we think of a queen who was blessed, but let’s take a moment to acknowledge that it was her obedience to God that made every step clear for her, resulting in her blessing.

God has given us all instructions that prepare us for His blessing, and you become clear on those as you turn towards God through your prayer and meditation time. Meditating on God’s written Word and rhema (meaning “now”) Word provides you with revelation. This revelation can come to you through scripture, through a person, through a sermon, and even through a book or sign. You’ll see confirmation when you look around your life, and you’ll know, clearly, what your next step should be.

If you’re with me this far into this clarity journey, we’ve established that you don’t just want to come TO…you want to come INTO. What do I mean by that?

I don’t just want to come TO church – I want to be ushered INTO God’s presence.

I don’t just want to go TO the bank to make a deposit – I want to honor God with my tithes and finances so well that I come INTO financial abundance.

I don’t want to just go TO my wedding – I want to be brought INTO an amazing marriage.

Let’s make the focus of our lives more about what God is bringing us into and how we can glorify Him, than about events and things. Throughout the book of Esther, there aren’t any verses about her talking about the palace or all her jewelry and clothes or the events she attended as the king’s wife. What you do see is how she is brought into an opportunity to glorify God because of her obedience.

So, how are we supposed to approach obedience? Proverbs 3:5 shares an answer:

1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart

2. Lean not unto your own understanding

3. Acknowledge Him in all your ways

4. He will direct your paths

This is the formula for obedience that brings you into your blessing.

Today’s Affirmation

God is directing your path today and giving you HIS strength to be obedient. You are being brought into the right place so that you can receive the blessing. Spaces and places with your name on them are opening for you and you’re realizing more and more just how vast the kingdom of God is. Obedience comes naturally to you; it is your preferred way. You are reassured of God’s love, and you cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.

BWFwoman’s manifestHER Daily Question of the Day:

What specific life area is requiring more of your obedience?

Day 10

Scriptures: John 5:1-15, 1 John 3:1, James 1:17

Immerse yourself

It’s Day 10 of our plan, and there’s still a miracle God wants to perform in our lives and in our thinking. We’ve turned towards God, our minds have been opened, our hearts have been softened and we’re hearing from God. We’ve established that we won’t be satisfied with getting to, without going into. Even with all of this satisfying revelation, still, there’s more here for you.

The clarity that God wants you to experience requires an immersive experience. When you are immersed in clarity, you will see the miracles of God in your life.

John 5:1-15 shares the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda. It was at this pool that the water would be stirred and anyone lying near the pool could get into the water and be healed.

It’s so interesting that the disabled man laid near the pool for 38 years and never got into the water to be healed. His reasoning is found in verse 7:

“Sir,” the man replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”

We all know that it didn’t take 38 years to ask someone for help or to simply figure out a way to get into the water. Based on what we’ve established through this manifestHER Daily plan, we know that the root level beliefs translated through His mindset and perspective were keeping him from his healing. Getting into the water required faith, it required a belief in worthiness, and it required a commitment to move.

As you walk out this Clarity journey, pray that the following be strengthened in you:

Your faith: Pray that your faith remains strong despite not always being able to physically see how things will work out and that your spiritual clarity, as you look clearly to God, will sustain you.

Your belief in your own worthiness: Pray that you aren’t distracted by others’ blessings and that you increase in knowledge, understanding how God designed you to be blessed.

Your courage to move: Pray that when it’s time to make a move, you have the courage to move and the strength to proceed with an awareness of your safety and security in Christ.

Most end their focus on this pool of Bethesda story after the man was healed by Jesus, but I want to go deeper into what happened after the lame man was healed. Verse 13 says that the man had no idea who Jesus was even though Jesus had just healed him. I wonder if he had followed the original instructions – to get into the water – how things may have been different for him. Because he lacked faith, belief, and courage, His body was healed, but he still missed the blessing of enlightenment to who Jesus was.

If you want your complete healing – healing of your mind, your thoughts, and your perspective, you’ve got to follow the original instructions and immerse yourself in God with faith, belief in your own worthiness, and courage. There, you will discover your miracle!

Today’s Affirmation

Today, your enlightenment of who Jesus is shows you the way. God is keeping you, and there is no better place or way to be kept. You are a kept woman. This is reflected in the way you speak and the actions you take. There is courage in you, faith in you, and a belief in your worthiness to ask God for what you need, knowing that He is a good, good Father. Every good and perfect gift from God is yours today.
