Almighty God, You are my refuge and sanctuary, the God of all grace, and in You alone do I find shelter from the storms of life. As I lay down to rest tonight, I acknowledge Your greatness and Your goodness, for You are my shield and my strong tower. I take comfort in knowing that You surround me with Your unfailing love and that no darkness is too strong to overcome the light of Your presence.
Help me, Lord, to rest in the comfort of Your protection, hidden in the secret place of Your covering, where no harm can reach me. My faith is anchored firmly in You, O Lord, for You are faithful and true, and You will never fail me. Tonight, I entrust my worries, my burdens, and my fears into Your hands. May Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding, guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let me sleep under the assurance of Your divine care, secure in the knowledge that You are with me.
You are my defender, the One who fights my battles and shields me from every evil scheme. In You, I find everything I could ever need or desire. Draw me closer to Your glorious presence, where I may experience the fullness of Your mercy, love, and forgiveness. Let Your grace sustain me and guide me even in my dreams, preparing me for the day ahead. I rest in You, Lord, with gratitude and trust, knowing that I am safe in Your everlasting arms. Amen.
