Why do you seek God and His kingdom? Our human nature is much more prideful and selfish than we care to admit … so it’s not unusual for people to interpret Scripture with this same lens, assuming that we serve God so that He can serve us. Yet, it is not God’s blessings that we seek, but God’s heart.
