Has the enemy ever tried to make you feel like a fool for believing something that has not happened yet? In this short three day plan, you will be encouraged to wait well and your faith will be reignited!
Woman Made Whole
Day 1
Scripture: Isaiah 30:18
When God makes us a promise, there is always a space between when the promise is made and when the promise is fulfilled.
This “space” is the space of preparation.
When our mind is not in alignment with Christ, the preparation can be confused for punishment or as if this thing will never happen.
And when the promise takes time to be fulfilled, if your mind is not focused on Christ, you will want to give up and throw in the towel.
The enemy will try to attack your mind. If he can attack your mind, he can attack your life.
Keep your mind fixed on Christ.
If God made you a promise, it is going to come to pass. But for the promise to be fulfilled, there must first be a process of preparation. During these next three days, I want us to discuss the two main things that will help you in this time of waiting:
1. Your faith
2. How to prepare
Join me in understanding how to wait wisely so that every lie trying to fill your mind during this season may be silenced in the name of Jesus.
Day 2
Scriptures: Psalms 27:14, Hebrews 11:1, Isaiah 26:3
Yesterday, we identified the season that you are in as the “process.”
Do not despise the season of preparation. Do not despise the process. Instead, make the most out of this time.
This time will be crucial for you to not only receive the promise, but to steward the promise well when it is received. After you receive a such a sacred gift, you must have built a strong foundation during the process so that you can take gentle care of it and fight for it in the Spirit. The reason the enemy wants to make you feel like a fool for believing is because he wants to distract you from your season of preparation. Even he knows that the more focused you are and the better you prepare, the stronger your faith will be.
If he can steal your season of preparation by distracting you and filling you with disbelief, then he can create chaos out of your promise.
Ignite your faith!
Believe, even if it seems crazy.
Believe, even if what you see with your natural eyes is the opposite of what God said.
Believe, even when you have been believing for what feels like a long time. Hebrews 11:1 says that “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”
Your faith will position you and will take you through the proper process without rushing. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Cling to faith and seek the face of God. He keeps the mind that is dependent on him in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
Day 3
Scripture: Psalms 27:14
How do you prepare?
1. Intensify your prayer life. Make prayer a priority. You’re not going to always feel like it, but this is when you will learn to be disciplined and to not be a slave to your feelings. Your prayer life is going to properly prepare you, position you, and propel you.
2. Live a life of prayer AND fasting. Learn to die to your flesh daily! How can you well steward what God is going to give you if you do not die to self? Are waiting on your promise for career, a new home, children, marriage, ministry, etc? These will all require selflessness and dying to your flesh when you have them.
3. Serve. Serving is an act of worship. Worship God by serving him and serving others. Be a vessel for God and allow Him to use your life for his glory. Serve God without the need for it to be seen by others. Serve Him with the pure motive of just wanting to please Him. Because He has given us everything, He is so worthy of our dedication to His service.
These are the main things for everyone, but there are more detailed things for each person. Pray about how you should be preparing in this season while you wait. Be ready to be obedient to whatever that thing is when He responds. Sometimes it is not what we want to hear, but what is necessary. God is faithful. He may show you the “what” now and the “why” later. Your focus is to obey.
