Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I quiet my heart before You. Thank You for carrying me through every moment, including the ones I understood and those I did not. Thank You for the kindness I received, the strength You supplied, and the ways You protected me that I may never know.
Please search my heart tonight. Show me where my thoughts, words, or actions failed to honor You. I confess every sin, every selfish response, and every moment when I ignored Your leading. Forgive me, Lord, and cleanse me. Where I have wandered, draw me back. Where my heart has grown cold, restore my love for You.
I release today’s worries, unfinished work, disappointments, and unanswered questions into Your hands. Give me wisdom to make amends where needed and courage to begin again tomorrow. Heal any hurt I caused or carried, and guard me from bitterness.
Watch over my family, friends, and all who need Your comfort tonight. Let Your peace settle over our homes. As I sleep, renew my body, mind, and spirit. Jesus, my faithful Shepherd, keep me close and safe. I rest in Your mercy and trust Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.
