Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to a close, I pause to thank You for carrying me through it. For every moment I noticed Your presence—and even the ones I didn’t—thank You for Your faithfulness.
Search my heart tonight. Show me where I fell short, where my words or actions lacked kindness, patience, or understanding. Forgive me, Lord, and continue shaping me into someone who reflects Your love more clearly. Teach me to grow, not in guilt, but in grace.
Thank You for the mercy You’ve given me, just as Romans 3:23–24 reminds me that though I fall short, I am made right through You. Help me extend that same mercy to others. If there’s anyone I need to forgive, soften my heart. If I’ve been holding onto anything heavy, help me release it into Your hands.
Thank You that Jesus understands my weaknesses, as Hebrews 4:15–16 says, and that I can come to You freely for strength and rest.
As I lay down tonight, quiet my thoughts and give me peace. Renew my mind, restore my strength, and prepare me for a new day.
I trust You with all that I am.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
(At this moment, you are invited to talk to God about whatever is on your heart).
